By default, MT4 and MT5 charts only display the bid price in the candlestick history. You can add a visible ask price line to your chart at any time by following the steps below for your device.

Desktop (MT4 / MT5)

1. Right-click anywhere on your chart

2. Select Properties, then go to the Common tab

3. Tick the Show Ask Line box

4. Click OK to confirm

iOS (MT4 / MT5)

1. Tap Settings in the bottom-right corner

2. Select Charts

3. Toggle on Ask Price Line

Android (MT4 / MT5)

1. Tap Settings in the bottom-left corner

2. Select Charts

3. Tick the Ask Price Line box

MT4 WebTrader:

1. Select Charts from the top menu

2. Select Properties (or press F8)

3. Go to the Common tab

4. Tick Show Ask Line

MT5 WebTrader:

1. Select Charts from the top menu

2. Select Properties (or press F8)

3. Go to the Show tab

4. Tick Show Ask Price Line

Tip: The ask line appears in red by default. If you cannot see it after enabling it, the line colour may match your chart background. To fix this, go to Properties > Colors tab and change the Ask Price Line colour to something clearly visible.

To hide the ask line again, follow the same steps and reverse the setting.
